Yeah, I was really pleased with the way they turned out. Lots of sanding & patience. But I guess that is with any fiber glass project. They sound really nice & the color goes really well with the stock colors. I think the color of the speakers & grilles just brings it all together. I've got alot more work to do on the truck but i'm taking a break for now.

ATTENTION ALL SMD MEMBERS: Do not under any circumstance buy anything from Chassistech! They do not stand behind their products & their customer service is horrible. They do not actually manufacture lowering springs, they drop ship them from Spring Tech. Chasistech.com also does business as Airbagit.com, Streetridepro.com & Truckinsuspension.com. They are all the same company! Do not trust these bastards! Their products are cheap & more often than not, you don't get what you actually order in the first place! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

It took me a long time to make up my mind on what I wanted my doors to look like. Origionally I purchased 4 sets of Rockford 2 way

Power Series 6.5" coax. The plan was to put 2 6.5"s in each door. Well I changed my mind & decided to go with a 6.5" & a 5.25" in each door. So I bought 2 pair of power series 5.25" coax. Well the fronts turned out great but the rear doors just didn't look quite right to me. So I ended up buying a pair of 4" power series coax & put a 5.25" and a 4" coax in each rear door.

I got my inspiration from this build thread: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...showtopic=31216

Good luck to you guys with your panels. I can't wait to see your stuff come together.

Cool deal. Just stock up on sand paper! An orbital sander and an angled die grinder with sanding disks are your best friend when working with fiber glass and body fillers!

Yeah, I thought about doing that too. I just wanted to be able to go back to stock if I had too.
