I Need Some Help

ok im relatively new to the whole car audio thing....in october i purchased my first system its nuttin special only 2 12" eclipse SW4200 subs and they are powered by a mosfet 1600 watt amp(cheap i know) but im thinking about selling the eclipse subs and getting 2 alpine SWR1242d 4 ohm subs and my question is how would i hook them up in my enclosure?...cuz the eclipse subs are single voice coil and the alpines are dual....and theres only 1 pos and 1 neg wire from each of the enclosure terminals that would run to the pos and neg on the subs...so how would i go about hooking the (dvc) subs up?...any advice is apretiated

so the first wiring diagram on that site would put a 2 ohm load on the amp right?...cuz thats all my amp can support lol

and i have another question...what gauge wire would i use to wire the pos to pos on the sub and neg to neg in the first diagram?

use the same speaker wire your using for the subs.
