Hoppy72450
The only time I have heard a sub 'cut in and out' was when it was being fed an EXTREMELY clipped wave. Also it sounds like his crossover filters are all stupidised, 50hz subsonic is rediculous, what's the low pass set to? Yeah the amp needs to be set right.

FiBTLforlife
im the guy who sold hoppy the subwoofer. and i have to say i sell only good things, so we know its not the sub. turned out his head unit was doing it all along, clipping the shit out of the sub. he changed a sub setting on the HU and he said it worked fine and was super loud. then i gave him a song and he when to try it out, started doing it again. now he said his guages are fcking up on him and gas gauge and stuff if wacked up. so im clueless all i said was check all your fuses and stuff in truck, something is blown and wacked up bad. but at least he knows its not the sub or amp.
