id put it on a relay off of the remote wire instead of just running it off the remote wire.

just a normal relay, +12v input, ground input, remote input, +12v output.

can find them at an auto parts store or a stereo shop.

i use mine off the dblock for my amps, that way its fused too.

x2 on relay off remote wire, remote wont power it

i saw one used in a false floor to give some ventilation, and it seemed to work pretty well, but the draw was a few amps, not the .5 most decks can handle.

(not sure if it was that one, but it was a similar style and size)

x2 for a relay. i run 4 fans, not the ones your looking at though, off my relay. i have my ignition wire hooked to it instead of the remote wire
