raytard
go sealed, its too small it was already said, you didnt read it 9 would be a minimum, plus port, 15ish is better if you have maybe 8, just build a spec sealed box, ported wont fit Quote Build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...hl=avalon+build monster/rockford/kicker/stinger cables, pioneer source, jbl highs/amps, kinetik/shuriken batts, iraggi alt, dei security, dc subs(atleast for now) Team DC
kingcabon20s
those are fact. specs meade is runnin a smaller box than recc isnt he? are there calculations before or after displacement of the sub? i can get 2.75 a sub so 8.25 after displacement is this not enough to run ported? raytard
steve's is smaller than spec because he is running over double the RMS to them you are WAY underpowering yours, and should make as big a box as possible, since you have to decide besides building an ideal sealed box and a bad ported one, just do the one you can do well and make it look good.
