pokertramp Posted April 18, 2009 Report Posted April 18, 2009 I have a 1982 Buick Regal. The engine is a Chevy 350. I don't have A/C just power steering. I want to put a second ALT. in and then on the driver side is room for another battery. Will I just dedicate this ALT. and battery to my system?
Neo_frog Posted April 18, 2009 Report Posted April 18, 2009 Why wouldn't you dedicate all of it to your system? The only time ppl really do that is when the extra alts and batts are 16V. pokertramp Posted April 20, 2009 Author Report Posted April 20, 2009 Also get your ALT from dc power Nice attempt I got 2 spare new alts. from a truck. They are not high outputs bust should do the job fo me. I just want a small system but do not want to put a drain on a stock system car wiring and such. Thanks for the advice.
