Sniper Posted May 4, 2009 Author Report Posted May 4, 2009 trying to get this damned cam working in linux, its not wanting to work x.x 1997 Pontiac Grand Am SE Broke stock Head Unit Stock speakers suck -if I get a job, it gets 2 SA 8s in a 2.5cube box (roughly 2 cube with the port and woofers in)- -oh, and a new HU and some speakers that dont suck. and possibly a new muffler and tint job (previous owners tint is smudging in the back, if you know how to get tint off a window without damaging the heating stuff, let me know!!!)-

Sniper Posted May 5, 2009 Author Report Posted May 5, 2009 well, in my steaming pit of agony, i'm "AQUIRING" a copy of Windows XP. so, today I was playing with the 18, moved the box into the closet (seems to hit harder and deeper when its in there) and I had to walk outside to get the mail (fact: I like seeing what rattles outside) and there was this black kid (maybe 10 or 12 years old) that I usually talk to, I've gave him some free stuff before (hey, I like being nice, and who doesn't appreciate getting some freebies) and he asks "What you got in the room Alex?" with a startled look on his face, even after 40 feet that woofer still sounded about as loud as it did in the house, and I tell him of course "1 woofer's doing all of that, care to listen?" and as I say that, the music cuts out, I later discovered that one of my sony block speakers had slid off my bookshelf and tapped its wires together as they had ripped themselves out (kinda wild thing to happen, trust me on that) and well, he says sure and we go in the house, he sits on the bed, I sit at my desk and reset the amp, I then start playing Rockaway, and he plugs his ears I believe that means I did good :B I also just got a 6" cardboard tube, wonder if I should still take her down to what I wanted to take her to, the thing I like about circular tube ports versus slot ports, I can retune the box by pulling 4 screws out and putting a different piece in (hell yes I have 6"DIA aeros) thinking maybe 35hz, someone recommended 29hz. dunno, what you think I should take it to? 1997 Pontiac Grand Am SE Broke stock Head Unit Stock speakers suck -if I get a job, it gets 2 SA 8s in a 2.5cube box (roughly 2 cube with the port and woofers in)- -oh, and a new HU and some speakers that dont suck. and possibly a new muffler and tint job (previous owners tint is smudging in the back, if you know how to get tint off a window without damaging the heating stuff, let me know!!!)-
