So ill primer and sand tmm. Anyway Got the top on, but broke my countersink bit. :censored: Some body filler Found my dad's Black and Decker sander. Definitly saves from blisters. And sanded down all those filler spots. Got the port painted Fiberglass time!! Never done it before, but here it goes. Used a little bit on the inside. It cant hurt right? Not pretty, still gotta paint. Input anyone? Crump Posted April 26, 2009 Author Report Share Posted April 26, 2009 The Amp came in the other day. Its a Rockford Fosgate P-1000-1bd. And i was surprised to see it being 1420 watts @ 1ohm @ 14.4 volts. I got the box painted fully, ill post pictures later forgot the camera. Anyway the sub and battery will be here April 30th, so expect the install around that time. One was a Kinetik 14000 and this was the other RE SX 15 Matt(crump-t1) holding it. Everything should all be done tomorrow. 4 18's, low power and lots of gay fur. I didnt sand down the fiberglass, cuz i couldnt find a sander powerful enough to take the fiberglass out, but i called Alex (slapuhho) and he said as long as its strong than thats good enough. I painted it black and theres some humps, but i got the sticker on. Now we gotta make sure the sub fits. Crump Posted May 2, 2009 Author Report Share Posted May 2, 2009 Well the install is complete and everything went relatively smooth. Getting the box in the car was the biggest problem, but its in now. It hits hard as hell i feel it in my chest. Its got no punch eq to it yet and i cant wait untill its broken in. It loves the mids and the highs. Anyway heres the pics.
