Im 16 when i was 12 i bought a 1967 Nova SS with nothing in it just body, tans, and some other stuff. So im starting to fix it up im going to put a 383 smallblock in it. its just going to be basicly a show car/ weekend car. Now this is the question. I want to have a really good system in it. I cant deside what subs iwant. i want to put 4 12's but what sub should i use? fosgate, dc, kicker. which ones are the best out there? and also i want an amp per sub soo what amp and how much watts per amp.. plz help me im trying to learn.. Just a lil more info will help everyone here help you! im new to this soo whats spl and sq? also i want something that will have alot of bass so i can bump at car shows and turn heads also has a nice sound to it. im going to build my own box make it custom learn how to fiberglass. i want the ports to go into the cab from the deck or what ever its called below the back wondow. Neo_frog Posted April 23, 2009 Report Posted April 23, 2009 SQ = Sound quality SPL = Sound Pressure Level With a car like that, you are definitely going to want SQ. You can still get loud, but having super clean bass is better for show cars IMO. Hell, I would recommend Fi Q subs and DAT Hellfire amps on each one. Need an install?
