Effects On Speaker Performance

What uncontrollable circumstances affect speaker performance?

I was thinking something along the lines of temperature, humidity, etc., that would cause speakers and subs to sound crappy one day and phenonemal the next.

Or perhaps something else, I don't know.

I've never known environmental things to have a MASSIVE effect on performance. Maybe ever so slight but it's not going to be crappy to phenomenal. I know Extreme SPL guys worry about temperature and humidity and atmospheric pressure but for a daily driver they won't play much part...
