bonkers Posted February 27, 2007 Report Share Posted February 27, 2007 I want to know if its really worth spending 240 bucks to get my BD1000.1 refurbed by RF. Remember its the first generation BD1000.1 or would i be wiser to look into one of their new models or possibly a different amp all together? Also i have no plans of going past 1000rms. I was powering a audiomobile Evo R 12 with this amp it hit hard for one twelve rattled the hell out of the Cavalier, sounded really good also. And you can get a referb t10001bd for a lil over 400 shipping and all from HDA. The prices on the old 1000.1bd's have came down over the past couple years, i am sure you could get one from ebay for under 225 shipped maybe cheaper. I know there is a guy on the rf forum who has one for sale i think he was asking like 200 or something for it, you might try contacting him, see if it is still for sale.
