cunokyle Posted April 30, 2009 Report Share Posted April 30, 2009 (edited) I would probably go with a single 12" in a ported box for the back of a 3rd gen. There is not a whole lot of room anyway. Been awhile, but that was the box I used for a single 12" IDMax and it sounded really good. Tuned to around 30hz but I do not remember the volume of the box. I think it was around 2 ft^3 but do not remember and don't want to really figure it out atm. Easy enough to do if you use those dimensions as teh exterior and be sure to account for the boards and port. Hope that gets you started anyway. 2 12" woofers in a ported box is not likely to happen and sound decent.
