Alrighty got some trunk measurements

Opening from outside

W:43 inches height is from the top to the bottom is 18 inches and the depth is 17 inches

opening from back seat

W: 18.25 inches D: 36 inches H: 17.5 inches

What I did for my last build was turned the box around in the trunk because It wouldn't fit width wise so we turned it so the depth length was going through

total space in trunk

W: 35 inches D: 36 inches H: 17.5 inches

step one, open kicker manual

step two, read it, atleast the first 4 pages

it will tell you everything down to a cutsheet, you might as well use what they suggest, they test their subs to shit and know what makes them work best, so especially if its your first box, do what they say and experiment from there

if their box doesnt fit in your car (i think it should) then just keep in mind 12^3 inches in a sq foot and try and keep it constant compared to theirs. as long as your box volume, port length, and sq inches of port is constant, you can make it most any shape you want.

its cool

just sayin, kicker is one of the few companies that gives good box plans, might as well use them, especially for a first box ever (companies like hardon/kardon and pioneer give very small boxes with like 4sqin of port/cube, which is obviously wrong, but whatever)

lmk if what they reccomend wont fit, i'll move a number or two around and keep the space, its all pretty easy though

this sounds easier than doing it, but build the biggest box you can possibly fit in your car/trunk, and port it, because kicker recommends that for deep bass you use 6 cubic foot for the 15, and by looking at your measurements, i'm almost damn sure you cant get 6 cubic ft in that trunk, but the bigger would be better.....thats if your looking for the heavy lows. you can build one 3 cubic ft, it will pound, but not like the 6 cubic ft.
