UPS came with something for me... did some dynamatting in the trunk... decided I want the bat to go here... and trimmed up/started clothing up the amprack... I decided to do the amprack in peices cuz its just easier and I can support the back... more updates tomorrow! mbdblue Posted May 23, 2009 Author Report Share Posted May 23, 2009 made some progress....than lost some...first the good... false floor... shes lookin pretty good so far and threw 4 layers on... than made a bat rack... carpetted her up... now for the bad....I spent a good deal of time to make this look nice...only to find out that the fuseblocks are not 0 gauge...they are 4 gauge...they were advertised as 0 but arent.... my own fault for not double checking as soon as I got em... so I went ahead and ordered another 0 gauge inline from knu (I already have one) just pisses me off to find out that all that work was shit....more progress soon... should be wrapping the other 2 sides of that panel soon... mbdblue Posted May 30, 2009 Author Report Share Posted May 30, 2009 got a couple little things wrapped up today....was fully intending on doin my alarm, but UPS didnt come till 430 with my lock actuators so I decided Im better off doin it another day.... so I wanted to finally hook up my rear bat....but there was no point in doin the work if the floor still needed carpet... also, this piece seemed stupid to me....just a thin crossbar to hold a couple more clips than they already got....I deemed it unnecessary.... back bat all wired up... fusing... front bat with a million pos connections....one more, and Id opt for a buss.... then I got my actuators and called it a day due to on and off rainstorms.... now its finally time to build a home for my XL....
