CMFR1 Posted May 1, 2009 Report Share Posted May 1, 2009 Ok so next weekend im going to start building a new box and putting in my new subs and i just want to see what you guys think of this box..the deminsions are 16/36/16 withs ends up being 4.2ft^3...there will be 2 4" ports that are 11" long so the tuning will be 34 hz...so what do you guys think will this be a good box for 2 12" dclv3 or not..to big not enough port area..Its goin into a trunk and the ports and subs will be facing to the back of the trunk..... please respond with opinions.. thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

kylecm85 Posted May 2, 2009 Report Share Posted May 2, 2009 i have 2 lv 4 12's and my box is right around 4.2 cubes tuned to 34 and it slams but i used a slot port instead of round ports. So i would say go for that u should like it. O and can you have the ports fireing out the back of the box and the subs fireing to the front.... or does it have to be just on the top side or front.....
