Either way you go, round or slot, you're going to have to allow for the displacement of the ports. So 4.2 cubes gross (before subs and port displacements) will end up being around 3.8 or a little smaller once you account for the pair of 4'' ports and subs. It is only going to shrink the volume down if you use bigger ports, like 6'' aeros or a slot port. Also, if you use two 6'' aeros they are going to need to be much longer than 11'' for a reasonable tuning so you're going to have to allow for that as well. My suggestion would be to either build a bigger box and use a slot port or build a slightly smaller box and go with 2-10s.

what do you recomend for a box then i already orderd my subs.... and if i use 6" ports thy would be 27" lng

That's why I said if you could fit it. If a pair of 6" ports are longer than your box then use the 4s

i could fit them if i put them in the side its just all these post confuse me, i get confused fast. but ill just put 6" in the side and call her good. if i dont like ill try sumthing different..trial and error i gues
