  1. I have a friend selling two Sundown 3500ds with warranties for $1400 shipped. Send me a pm and I can hook you up with his phone number.
  2. I wish I had that kinda width in my truck. I only have 40'' wide to work with in my bed.
  3. I'm loving the look of the box. Great start so far!
  4. While it's amazing that he did 150 w/ a single 8'', it is far from a daily setup. So don't expect similar results is what I'm trying to say, haha.
  5. Looks flat from 30hz-70hz, which is exactly what I'm looking for in a bandpass right now. Should be interesting to see how it sounds in car vs. plotted on a graph. When are you getting around to building it?

  7. RAB over on ca.com is selling a pair of these in dual 2. Pretty sure it's $800 shipped. Not positive on the shipped part but I think the price included shipping.
  8. What are the dimensions of the cut?
  9. Thanks for the input man. I'm just going to stick with 2-12s...just ordered a LV4XL today and will order the second one whenever. No rush since my LV4s w/ LV5 coils are pretty nasty off the 3000d. Here's the box I'm going to build for the LV4XLs, 5@33:
  10. Hard to say...but the lv4xl is a great woofer. I had the 10'' and it was a beast.
  11. So there shouldn't be any weird loading/cancellation with the subs firing towards each other that close?
  12. What do you think about this? Should be about 7.8@34 after sub displacements.
  13. Does anyone know how to insert a sketchup drawing on here? I put something together and wanted to make sure it would work ok.
  14. I was at a show on Sunday and about 5-6 guys were running them. They were demo-ing all day long at full tilt and the amps stayed nice and cool. They impressed me for sure.
  15. Thanks for the input. Maybe I'll just try a 4th order then.
  16. Ok, I was going to offer to buy them. But in all honesty I think you're better off with the 12s. I've been stuffing systems into a reg cab ranger for 5.5 years and one thing I've learned is that it's easier to just stick with a smaller size and have the extra room. Four 10s would be pretty sick in there though if you're set on switching things up. I had a lv4xl 10'' for a while and it killed the lows.
  17. That's what I'm afraid of. The size/length of the center section has to effect it somehow.
