KICKERKX1200 Posted March 2, 2007 Report Share Posted March 2, 2007 using a scosche wiring harness kit for a 2004 f-150 and it says on back of package to use orange wire for illumination but harness does not have a solid orange. it only has two orange wires. one has a white stripe and the other has a black stripe. so which one do i use. and also neither on of these wires are listed on back of package Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
sean 371 Posted March 2, 2007 Report Share Posted March 2, 2007 Nearly all aftermarket head units dont have an illumination feature. Tape it off and leave it alone.
