But i'm a damn angel...... meade916 Posted May 7, 2009 Author Report Share Posted May 7, 2009 He could actually stay there if he's only a level I or II inmate but from what your saying he may already be striked out....Alot of what I'm hearing now is the Judges are sending guys on Parole/Probation to DVI instead of crowding up County anymore then it already is. This way they are out of the "Counties" hands.... For some it beats being shipped directly to Corcoran, Folsom Or Q. DVI or "The Farm" as remember it is NOT the place anyone wants to be.....thats where they need to take these kids nowadays that wanna act like knuckle heads. DVI will either make you or break you.... http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/dirol.gif he ISNT on parole anymore so im not sure - he has tons of "prison priors" (i think its called) for the same crimes - i dont know how violent the felonies have to be before you start gettin real strikes but i know for a fact theres some burglary charges mixed in with making his own checks and passing them, credit card fraud, id theft, evading police (did that twice now), and more i cant think of. If he gets 3 strikes and gets himself 25 to life, then thats what he deserves and it sucks to say about your family. The thing is i cant be a hypocrite, if it was just some stranger off the street doing what he does and hasnt learned his lesson from his past prison trips, i would feel the same way. my brother is a drug addict and the only way he ever cleans up is when he is locked up so TTYT, the entire family is happy and breathing a sigh of relief.....when i say drugs, i dont mean a little weed either..... the part that sucks the most though, is if he DOES get any real time, 10+............my mom and dad are 58yrs old - he may never see them again. They live in Florida so a weekend visit is not very convienent.. You never know at that age whether your gonna make it another 10 or more. Im 37 and i wonder sometimes if i got 10 in me....
