badasschevillac Posted May 11, 2009 Report Share Posted May 11, 2009 i just want to get a second opinion, but i think i know what the problem is... i have a 18" fi btl F.L.(dual 2ohm) pushed by a mmats d.3000 running at 1 ohm. i have a red top under the hood and kinetik hc2400 out back and a 280 amp h.o. alt. +big 3 and all 1/0 guage i had a 18" fi btl F.L.(dual 1 ohm) pushed by the same amp just running at 2 ohms(not at potential) and my mids and highs never cut out. now that i have lowered to ohms they cut out when the sub hits now what i think it is... the hc2400 out back has both the mmats and the amp powering my mids and highs connected to it. i think that the mmats(when needed) is taking away power from the other amp and needs its own seperate power supply. i.e. running just the mmats to the hc2400 and the other amp seperatly to the front batt or just get a second rear batt. to go along with the hc2400? thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
