the sam Posted May 14, 2009 Report Share Posted May 14, 2009 shouldnt make a difference. you may get more blow out with a port at the rear of the sub, but it doesnt matter. if you seal and insulate the box well, the air will move to the only point it has to escape, so, along those lines, anywhere you place the port, the same effect will occur. movement of air... Eh, wut? Not quite the case You need to consider loading and phase issues when deciding which way to face the port. Each will give different results in different vehicles. 10.x volts fo' life!
