Neel Posted May 13, 2009 Report Posted May 13, 2009 I actually built these a few weeks back just in time for an IASCA SQ show, just like the title says they are kick panels that vent into the a pillars of the car. I moved all the factory wiring from the locations and relocated them into the dash. The idea was to give the speakers (soon to be replaced) as much airspace as i possibly could. The speaker angles were played around with ALOT before finding a spot where they sounded best, what looked best didnt really sound best. The left mid is really off axis to the listener and the right mid is almost exactly on axis. They sound great with the help of an RTA, some equalization thanks to the 3sixty.2 and time delay. I will be replacing the speakers with hopefully a set of Image Dynamics that have a coax mount option for the tweeters. So these panels might be getting chopped up in the next month or so... anyways on with the pics! Too Much Stuff to list .
