brewer_brewer
Yeah but wouldn't the upgraded alt. + the upgraded batt. be enough?^^^^^^^ depends. you would be fine with a huge battery up front like a kinetik 3800 and a 200 amp alt but still have some voltage drop, thats where the extra batt comes in. Couldn't I just get a Sundown 2000D? that would be a great amp. will do 2500 rms. StephenLS
I have the Kinetic 3800...... idk about the alternator though... w/e is stock for a 96 pathfinder I think... not sure... but I think its a 90 amp Edited May 13, 2009 by StephenLS
brewer_brewer
i think its a 90 amp. you will have voltage drop if you get the 3000d or 3500d. i personally would run at least a hc1800 in the back, if you have the room do a 2400 or a 3800. i hate voltage drop so i always overdo my electrical. brewer_brewer
So extra battery or upgraded alternator? i would do the biggest extra battery you can fit. then later on down the road upgrade the alternator. mbdblue
So extra battery or upgraded alternator? Id say both man....your alternator recharges your bats....batteries dont have infinite power in them....
