I hope your painting this bitch again because the gap you left on the baffle and the sub gasket is way to tight for anything else! Looking good again and I'm tuned in once again :hairtrick:

Done!

It comes out to about 2.6 cubes after displacement, I thought it would sound pretty good & get fairly loud, but perhaps I made it too small? They hit pretty hard but my voltage is getting crazy low. & before my truck seemed loudest with 1 window down or 1 door open, other side sealed. Now it gets loudest with both windows down about 2/3 of the way. Any thoughts on this?

:hairtrick: < I wish.

Something is really messed up all of a sudden. I dont think its even doing a 140 which is sad bc my first box for these did a 141.9.

I need help.

Let me know what you guys think so far!

Are you predrilling? that makes a huge difference. Also, I glue all the boards very thoroughly, rubbing the glue into the wood grain and then adding more to ensure the best seal possible. it's fine to put too much glue, just take your finger and wipe it around, or use a damp cloth and clean it off. Just screws holding mdf wont work for the power you have, the box has to be very strong, I don't even use MDF, I use the heavy 11 ply oak hardwood that's 3/4 in thick. It's not cheap, but it holds screws much better, and is physically heavier, I'll bet it'll sound better too.

Knowledge is the greatest tool in any garage. It's also the most priceless, and most easily shared. icon_nuts.gif

Here's my latest build.
