Lowroll
so i decided on using a diy bed liner kit to cover my box. its cheap, effective, and durable. I taped off the area the woofer will sit over so id keep a nice seal between the box and the subwoofer. i scuffed the box and then gave it two coats before pulling the tape. & while i was out today i got some 10 gauge for speaker wire, and I already had some 8 that im gonna run from the amp to the subs. Lowroll
So before i went to school last night i didnt get much done. I painted the back of the box with the liner and today i did the second coat. & yesterday my grandfather gave me a locking storage box to use for my batteries in the bed. Tomorrow im gonna build a frame for the inside of it and for the lid so it has some support. i also plan to put the all thread terminals in and get the woofers wired up so that the box is done. Lowroll
Man I can't wait to hear what you think of those subs we just started carrying them at my shop and I have heard them yet! http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/hairtrick.gif I havent got a chance to hear them in my box yet but i did hear 4 of them in a single chamber sealed box @ 600 watts a piece in a cr-v and they slammed, this box is more size specific and will run @ 1100 watts. Today I got some more of the parts for this install. i got more 10 gauge for the speakers, some 8 gauge ring terminals for the jumpers, & my first Power Acoustik Stax 4000/1d it certainly looks good, hoping it performs well.
