Lowroll
So today went pretty well i guess. I thought this build might get some more intrest for some reason, but im completely psyched about it. maybe its bc i havent had bass in a week and a half! idk. I got the right battery terminal today too, so my big 3 will be complete! I got my mounting plate for my fuse holders finished up, it turned out better than i thought. Ill have one more ANL fuse holder going on there, and check out the sweet wire loom zip tied around the edge. It made a difference, 14.23 volts at the battery now Also got hinges and a lid on my console Current System: Pioneer 6900 HU Front Stage: (for now) Soundstream tarantula 5.25 in the doors Soundstream tarantula 4x6 in the dash Kenwood 400.4 for mids & highs Bass: 4 Soundstream RW-12's 2 Power Acoustik Stax 4000/1D's single chamber box, 2.65 cubes. Lowroll
So last night I got some screws for my fuse mounting plate, the right battery terminal and some dampers for my console bc that lid closes fast lol. I put the terminal in and got my ground wire hooked up Checked the voltage at the battery again, it was at 14.36 for a while but stayed at 14.33. this should be fine until i can get a new battery for under the hood and a HO alt. Lowroll
Iv almost got the console finished now. All it really needs is some wiring, an armrest, and some form of covering. I made the front piece of my console and made a gauge pod and got it mounted Ran 8 gauge into the console for power to the accesory switches that will be mounted inside Got the amp mounted and ran my remote wire and rca's Night shot of the gauge Current System: Pioneer 6900 HU Front Stage: (for now) Soundstream tarantula 5.25 in the doors Soundstream tarantula 4x6 in the dash Kenwood 400.4 for mids & highs Bass: 4 Soundstream RW-12's 2 Power Acoustik Stax 4000/1D's single chamber box, 2.65 cubes. Lowroll
Its finally all coming together. I got my console wired up, mounted the amp, made up the first set of speaker wires, and started cleaning all those wires up. Im def gonna need a small false floor built in front of the box to hide all these wires. and to mount my fuse and distribution blocks too. Iv still got to build an armrest/wire cover to go over top the amps, make a mounting plate for the line driver, and im going to finish the console with the bedliner used to finish the box. all I need now is another amp, some wire, and meh batteries. power and ground lug in console Current System: Pioneer 6900 HU Front Stage: (for now) Soundstream tarantula 5.25 in the doors Soundstream tarantula 4x6 in the dash Kenwood 400.4 for mids & highs Bass: 4 Soundstream RW-12's 2 Power Acoustik Stax 4000/1D's single chamber box, 2.65 cubes. EricR
looks pretty sweet i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?
