Dbass
Okay so heres my question, Before i was running what i posted in sig, wit no extra battery and i thought i don't have enough power thats why it kept getting distorted(subs) when i turn the volumn up too high(on deck) and my whole deck/system would just shut off and restart. i purchased a spv70 today and rewired my + to the battery and + back to 0-8 splitter and than to amps and spv70 - to chasis in the back. Gives me more power as of now, i can actually push the subs more, but agian it gets distorted but deck doesn't restarted, just distortion from subwoofer's. Could this be due to the Voltage of my deck to rca to amps? i have no line processor and i was told it would be fine to split rca from deck to y plugs to each amp. any input guys? really trying to get this thing together. mrafrica
one thing i gotta say is nice subs. ive got the 15's in the single voice coil config. and they are nice. Quote And far as the best connection ever....... get a huge fucking battery, cut the top off, drop an alt in there and then pour all that into your big amplifier. or just smelt them all together. Neel
how are your gains set? How is your voltage? Quote Too Much Stuff to list .
Guest
sounds like SEVERE voltage drop. mine would only do that if i dipped below 10v
Dbass
how are your gains set? How is your voltage? amp gain is alil over half way, subwoofer gain on deck is always set @ 7(goes to 15) maybe a lil higher depending on songs, and bass set to -7. voltage drops to mid to high 12's. i know thats low but not going any lower. unless my volt meters f'd up too :S hope not get it check out morrows, lights dont dim neither do i need an line peocessor? or whatever that lil thing does, where it boosts your voltage from deck back up since i split my rca's to each amp?
