Hey guys, how would I go about wiring 6 dual 4 ohm subs to a 2 channel amp to receive either a 1 or 2 ohm load?

thanks!

I cant think of any 2 channel amps that support 1 ohm loads, umm first off what amp is it?

Dont quote me on this but if you did all six wired in parallel you would get a 1.3333 ohm load so you would need a 1 ohm stable amp, preferably monoblock.

sorry guys

Its a mono amp, its the alphasonik pma800hca.

* 800 Watts x 1 @ 4 ohms Stereo

* 1400 Watts x 1 @ 2 ohms Stereo

* 2900 Watts x 1 @ 1 ohm Mono

If anyone could show me how I can wire 6 dual 4 ohm subs to 1 ohm, that would be great. Getting the subs tomorrow, so i'm hoping i'll have the wiring sorted out for the then, and pics/vids and numbers soooon!

got the other 2 10s yesterday, so hes got all 6 10s now...had some wiring issues due to the fact we didn't have enough speaker wire, lol. so i'll start a new thread with pics/vids sometime this week. Hooked them all up, and the amp was blinking, so i'm guessing it was in protect mode due to a wiring issue. so i'll go over it all when I get a chance with some new wire, and a multi meter.
