They are good speakers defintaly have clarity. but lack mid bass. I would get the components over the coaxils

infinity kappas have a very bright tweeter. Right on verge of harsh. if this is the sound your going for these are perfect. not too bad on the wallet and pretty good quality.

the new reference series sound sweet, but whats ur buget? if u want clarity n good midbass on mids n highs ied run pioneer pemires, i heard em at best buy ran off a avic n2 n it was sweet n smooth, so ona amp u can imagin
