you will be fine with an additional battery on your stock alt. It might shorten the lifespan of the alt in the long run but day to day it wont be a problem. Only use sealed batteries as secondarys.

Hybrid isnt the answer. It is one, but not the best. We have an answer right here in front of us, already for sale! DIESEL power! Americans dont want to hear it or acknowledge it. A golf TDI will and has the capability to get much more MPG than any hybrid does. Doing it all with almost twice the HP. Have you ever noticed how many more Diesel powered cars there are in other countries? Its because they realize the potential of diesel and are willing to buy it. I wish we could get some of the cars here that they have there that are diesel powered. Hell in mexico you can get a ranger with a diesel, why not here?

Hey everyone! Been thinking about painting the truck in the near future. I have tried macco before and was completely upset with the outcome. SO now i want to learn! I already have 90% of the tools and 100% of the want to attitude. Does anyone know of any dvds or books that have a clean easy to understand explanation of the correct way to paint a vehicle?

most of the systems i have had in my F150 Harley truck it didnt make a difference. the only box that was wayyyyyyy to heavy was the 2 JL 13w7 Tline box. 4 Sheets of wood, 2 13w7s, 4amps and 4batteries was too much weight and the truck would not stop and i wasnt going to drop 1k-2k on a new braking system for a stereo.

i say 4 12s. i went from 4 12s to 2 15s and im not happy with my decision.
