I use 3m Super 90 Laminate Cement.. Just be careful on lighter color fabrics, Ive never had it bleed on vinyl or leather tho.

On plastic use a good wax/grease remover( ie rubbing alcohol) to clean it first. Give the cement a chance to stick to the plastic rather than your greasy finger prints/dirt. On MDF thats been in the dust alot, i use a regular cheapo tack cloth from Autozone for $.99 before i spray the Contact Cement.

you can get it yourautotrim.com I have had some pretty deep curves that it continues to hold 7 years later under a windshield.

for sharp corners I always round them over and try to design it to hide the seams. I have no means to stitch anything. Here are some exapmles where i have rounded the corners.
