hotshot27 Posted May 23, 2009 Report Posted May 23, 2009 you didnt account for port displacement in the box volume. even using the specs you gave, thats about 9.3 square inches of port per cubic foot. if you are having port noise problems i would aim for 11-12 inches per cubic foot. Guest KyleCannon Posted May 24, 2009 Report Posted May 24, 2009 okay so I did another box: now i want to hit lows a little more so i think this box would be nice for daily 40hz<= (or would the 32hz port be better for this box?) question is, the f3 is at 28hz so will this help me or hurt me by tuning it lower.... would it also be a good/bad to tune it to 28-29 hz or is that f3 going to hurt the output?.... if anyone could give me any ideas on what they would do that would be great
