I know this picture is drawn up in 5 min. but is this safe to do.... i didnt add fuses in between them all but, they will be there

question.jpg

The top battery is under the hood *yellow top*

The 2 batteries in the back are the Kinetics

Just wondering if it will be safe/good idea, or should i ground both batteries in the back.

Thanks

One Run + one - is what i would do then ground them in the back and add fuses after each batt.

positive from front battery to positive on back battery with fuse like you said.

then from the battery in the back positive to positive on the amp.

you can ground the amp to the battery negative and then the battery negative to the chassis.

if you want to have a more direct route with a better flow of current do another run from the front negative to the back negative.

its not necessary if you don't have a huge system though.

what are you running?

im running 2 AQhdc3's

With my highs amps, prolly about 3800wrms max...

i have a 200A HO alt and big 3

I just didnt want to have a bunch of grounds seeing as i have 4 amps already grounded, im running out of room on the ground bolt.

im tryn to have a common ground in the back.. i heard its the way to go?

start a buss bar if you have so many grounds.

if you have that many grounds you should probably have just about as many power on another buss bar.

so ur saying i can ground my amps to the Neg. on the battery, then ground the batteries?

im only grounding 3 small amps then my sub amp. I just have limited room and im using a bolt through the bottom of my truck, i think its a JL audio ground, it was expensive, i just dont want to use a seat bolt or anything ghetto

I have mine going from the amp negative to the the battery negative.

then from there a short piece going to the chassis.

I cannot say that it will work for you as I only have a 1500 watt sub amp not 3 separate amps.
