so i stared my box today this is what i have so far 41''w-18-t-23''d==8.65cf-inside now i need some help with the port would like it to be ported to 28hz to 31hz--any help with the port size and shape and depth -wood be great--this is my first ported box and i would like to do it right the first time----doing subs up port back- bracing will be 1.5'' dowel rod and 45s on all corners and -fg-resign-in the box--will this do [ let me no if you can help me out and thanks alot]

if i got your dimensions right...

from side to side of the box *left to right* its 29" long 3" wide and 24" into the box... dunno if i got it right tho, that to me shows 87sqinch of port and tuned to 32 hz but im prob wrong

i have 40''wide and 17''tall and 22''deep all inside the box hope this helps

i got 36" from left to right, 2" wide, and 16" long

72sqinch port area tuned to 33hz

*edit* 18" long will be 32hz if you didnt want 33

I dont think a square port would would work because the port wouldnt have enough sq inches unless you do like a 8"x8" or 9"x9".
