I need to know if 4 awg will be enough for the grounds I will run 2/0 from alt to battery and four runs to the back 2+ and 2-. I have about 20 feet from another install or would it be safer to do it all in 2/0 Thanks for the help new system in the works (3) DC lvl 4xls 15's (one of three are here) (2) DD z1 (done) old kenwood four ch 4 runs of 2/0 (done) ? 200 amp alt may two ?? I have about 20 feet from another install or would it be safer to do it all in 2/0Thanks for the help Basically your wiring is only as good as its weakest link, you could do 2/0 to the back, then right before the amp put an 8 guage wire to connect into the amp, so basically you are getting the current that can flow through the 8 guage wire.
