RIGHT!? Its more fun to have this kind of system in a tiny tiny car We're twins, so we've always enjoyed doing the same things and it was actually HER idea to go to SBN first. kinda blew me away when she started bugging me about it. The diamond came about because of space issues. I wanted the port to be as large as possible without causing the baffle to lose rigidity, so this just ended up being the perfect shape for the setup. Still managed to get 144sq inches on a baffle that is only 45"x 31" On paper.... im tuned to 33-34. There is no way to know 100% though since im uncertain of my total gross volume, and i dont know my net volume.

m2 Level 5 & 6 Pre Order Now Open
J00bles replied to CJ18's topic in DC Sound Lab - Big Bass on ANOTHER LEVEL!
Anybody in the midwestern US should contact Kurt Bills for pricing on DC items. Im shocked that you guys would over step your boundaries on "pricing" to people out of your region. Anyways... Kurt has a pair of M2 Level 6s in his civic wagon and its pretty nasty -
thanks! Lem beat me to it thanks! im technically a full db louder than my old score on the exact same clamped power. i dont know my current peak freq, so i blindly burped something in the area of where my loudest used to be. I have a show this weekend, so maybe ill do a sine sweep and see if it changed at all. OH, and its way louder on the ears... actually pretty painful for "only" doing upper 52s Im Boomin Im Bunkin' - oj da juiceman iirc... But im sure this is the decaf version And sail-awolnation But thats Bigpimpimins version too.... Good luck getting these they are top secret stuff now!! haha ^^^this guy You are very correct on the songs! i've been asked for the sail version by 40 some people in the last 2 days but im not sure if bigpimpin is hosting it anymore

a wall is a form of subwoofer enclosure that expands from the floor to the ceiling and side to side in the passenger compartment of a vehicle. it can be mounted anywhere behind the front seats. walls (to be a true walls) need to seal the new front cabin space off from the rear cabin space, in order to effectively utilize the reduction in overall cabin volume. Most walls are built to allow the user to fit multiple subs, in a smaller cabin space, to optimize the pressurization that occurs. **Edit** opimizing the pressure will allow the vehicle to produce a higher SPL

as someone who walled their car after months of research and planning....i dont think you're ready for it. dig through as many build logs as you can on here, and get VERY familiar with box designs and box building. then one day (maybe) you'll be ready to attempt it

i ran a pair of DC XLs on a 3500d.1 and loved every bit of it. many many subs will work wonderfully on that amp. just gotta go with whatever you can afford!
-
you'll want probably 10-12 cubes for the box. i think most 21" subs require 8-10. good luck with the sub! i have seen some people on youtube do some impressive things with them (with the right amount of power)

i'm drunk. that is all

walling a hatchback? things I wonder..
J00bles replied to FlexIssues's topic in Subwoofers / Enclosures
i never was able to measure my wall 100% but i got a pretty close guesstimate done on it. big boxes are hard to figure, but you can do it with a little bit of free time
