danny_c Posted June 2, 2009 Report Posted June 2, 2009 I have a tahoe with 3 12 kicker cvx. Subs and ports facing rear. I am in the processing of selling them and purchasing to 2 Fi 15" BTL subs. Question is wich one would give me better lows. subs up and ports to the rear? or subs and ports facing rear?

When I had 1 sub, I ran sub rear and port to the side and was even a little bit louder. MDF is cheap. Try it both ways. . . Brian Current system: 1997 Blazer - (4) Customer Fi NEO subs with (8) American Bass Elite 2800.1s Previous systems: 2000 Suburban - (4) BTL 15's and (4) IA 40.1's = 157.7 dB at 37 Hz. 1992 Astro Van - (6) BTL 15's and (6) IA 40.1's = 159.7 dB at 43 Hz.
