BHSskaterBHS
Well today i started working on my electrical! Picked up a cheap scoche terminal block. Ran a line of 4g from the alt to the bat +, will leaving the stock line also hooked up mess with anything? Ran a new ground from the bat. All my fuse blocks. Three inchers installed in armrest. Kendwood headunit that someone threw away because it had brocken rca solders on the board. I fixed it! Edited June 3, 2009 by BHSskaterBHS Quote 2002 FORD EXPLORER PACKED WITH SOME CHEAP SUBWOOFERS! RamenNoodles
Why did you only do it in 4ga? Honestly its not really going to do much of a difference. It will help, but in the long run, its much smarter to just run 1/0 to prevent from doing it again. BHSskaterBHS
had a load of 4g because that what my amp needs, so i used it. its very good wire and dont plan on moving to 0g, im only running one amp so i think im fine. the center console can be put back where the 3 incher are, its a stick so i dont use it anyways. and i still need do alt to chassis Quote 2002 FORD EXPLORER PACKED WITH SOME CHEAP SUBWOOFERS! BHSskaterBHS
is there supposed to be a fuse block on the wire going from to positive to the alt? and could i just disconect the original wire from the pos to the alt?
