Remote Wire

What is a good alternative for remote wire. I dont know if places will just sell them. i have searched and looked for some but cant find any. can i just use like 16 gauge speaker wire for it? or does it have to be a specific type of wire? thanks

Any 16 gauge auto wire from an auto store will work, my turn on wire is the same wire I used on my neons.

I use 12 gauge number 1 wire for all of my accessories I hook up in the car, remote, lights etc... Speaker wire will work just fine for a remote wire I would use 10 - 14 though. the install shop here is known for using 14 gauge speaker wire for just about everything when it comes to needing power. I wouldn't put much of a load on it though
