kryptonite Posted June 6, 2009 Report Share Posted June 6, 2009 I hope ya'll can help me with this. I'm going to be running a new enclosure with 4-12" T1s in the back of a Ford Ranger. I talked to RF and they told me to do a port at 100 square inches that's 12.75" long. By calculator that comes out to 36 hz (if i remember correctly). I would like to make it a removable port and have different tuned ports. Any suggestions on how else i could make another port? I'm making this box a daily driver but it has to slam. The dimensions of the box are as follows: D=18" W=50" H=30" I'm going to be using 2x4 bracing and glassed, doubling up the baffle for the subs and it's going to be lag bolted into the truck. Running about 3000 watts between all 4 subs on a 200 amp alternator and 2 group 31 batteries. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
