majorpayne Posted March 14, 2007 Report Share Posted March 14, 2007 you cant wire two amps in series, only parallel, you could either do 2 runs of whatever gauge power wire you are using and two grounds and run them to both amps or you can use a distrobution block and split the first power wire into two leads and do the same with the ground also. What amps are these? are they strappable? that would be you best bet. If not just hook up both amps and set them the same all they way around ie phase, ssf, lpf, all that stuff and set your gain with a dmm so both amps read the same output voltage. sorry for the long response, hope that helps.
