mr.wattz(405) Posted June 10, 2009 Report Posted June 10, 2009 putting some new subs in my car. the thing is, im building the system for my wife for when she gets her own car. i am going rockford but she likes kenwood. has anybody had these subs Kenwood Excelon KFC-XW1222D. i would like to know if they are good they will be replacing 2 Kenwood KFC-W3011. im just lokking into getting something dvc wise really and trying to do kenwood right now. any help please. thanks

Beanz Posted June 12, 2009 Report Posted June 12, 2009 hmmm 600 rms for 139 on the net.dont look that bad.how much power you planning on running to them?the full 600?never really liked kenwood that much since they didnt soudn that loud to me. edit waht amp you going to run cause your last subs are 4 ohm and these new ones are 2 ohm. That's why they don't deliver. Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait. You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do.
