fritosaregood Posted June 13, 2009 Report Share Posted June 13, 2009 So, theres this thing goin on where everyones parents are gettin on a facebook now, even my mom. I was thinkin thats wierd.. But, she posted a pic of me with a trophy from a comp i was at a few weeks ago. A guy saw it, and asked about me wiring up a system on his boat. Ive never done a boat system before but i couldnt turn it down. He already had 4 10 inch woofers mounted on a wake board tower, all he needed was for me to run all the wires and mount the amp. He also needed the lights on the tower wired up, so i did that too. the boat the woofers The amp, A zappco 1000.4 this amp was different that any other amp ive had. It had some symbylink thing that connects to the amp instead of rcas. then i realized.. boats arent metal. so i didnt see any good grounds. I decided to do two runs of wire, power and ground the wire, 2 20 ft runs the amp mounted, and added some bolts to use for power and ground terminals the amp had fans on it so i wired up a relay to turn them on, i also did a relay for the lights on the tower.
