V6rado94 Posted August 28, 2009 Report Posted August 28, 2009 Be carefull if you buy non-GM parts.. because you could run into fitting issues. Build Tread
white4d96 Posted August 28, 2009 Report Posted August 28, 2009 I say stick with the stock front, not feelin the Escalade nose idea. Too many projects, too little time...
gremlin Posted August 28, 2009 Report Posted August 28, 2009 i personally dont like that style escalade. i say stick with original front end current set-up: headunit: kenwood excelon kdc-x891 mids: front: mb quart reference 6.5s rear: pioneer TSA941 6x9 mid and high amp: performance technique ICBM-773 sub amp: kicker 08zx2500.1 subs: (2) 08s15l7d2 4.25 cubic foot sealed box big 3 all in hooker 1/0 wiring Sacrifice your car to the Audio Gods and DBs will come.
Colin - STAPUFT Posted August 28, 2009 Report Posted August 28, 2009 x3 keep it stock-ish. Maybe shave some stuff to make it cleaner? I have always been a fan of the GM front ends over the Chevys. Something about the grill on a GMC looks cleaner to me, but it is all in what you like I suppose. 12 - 12"s in the STAY PUFT 1989 Chevy Astro Build & Comment Log Un-Interrupted Build LogYouTube Channel Chevy Trailblazer 5.1 Dolby Digital DTS Install You have a beard of a mysterious sea captain. -Hobby- Posted August 28, 2009 Report Posted August 28, 2009 Keep what your running now and spend the bucks on a new cleaner box. I just took the back seat out of my Silverado for a nice new setup. your truck looks nice. I love those rims. Cant wait till I can get funds to fix up the outside of my ride.
mxdustinmx Posted August 28, 2009 Author Report Posted August 28, 2009 Thanks for the input guys. Its at the body shop now and he said the caddy front end is cheaper than all the stock stuff. I still have mixed thoughts on wat I want 01' Chevy Silverado 4x4 18'' Fi Btl Sundown Saz-3000D (Sold the system) New build coming soon.. Pics of My Truck
