Souldrop
well plans may change my buddies amp blew and i might be laoning a sundown to him (prolly indefinitely lol) so will have one left...but since im planning to upgrade l8a on anyways its no biggy...Ill end up buying one xl for now to try it out and play with boxes and tuning some now question is do i go with 15's or 18's...im planning on keeping this setup until subs blow and im forced to buy new ones so that means hopefully a car switch or 2 before i have to go sub shopping again....so ultimately are the 18's worth all the extra space and trubble they may cause l8a down the road with a smaller car? is the diff in output and lows that much? thanks again Quote 1997 Lexus ES300 HU - Pioneer MVH 7350 Processor - Helix DSP Front Stage - JBL P660C Mid/high amp - Alpine PDX-F4 Subs - 1 IA Death Penalty 12 Sub Amp - Cactus Sounds PF300.

Souldrop
right now a 93 towncar and im willing to take seats out :hairtrick: but 1st big repair it needs im going for new car (cud be tomorrow or cud be 2 yrs from now) hopefully a v6 suv (blazer or explorer) ...but as it is with everything depends on how much money i have when that moment comes and wat good deals r available...i know this is a very very vague question considering every aspect of the install plays a role but i guess mainly wat im trying to get at wud 2 18's sound good at their min box size at 5 cubes each after displacement or wud 2 15"s sound better at the same 5 cubes? Souldrop
LOL fair enuf one reason i asked bout 18's and 15's i wud like to avoid walling a car if at all possible even if it means back seats have to go:p just was curious if any1 has fit 18's in a regular 4 door car without too much trubble or tell me how hard it was to fit in say a camaro;) and when ur car is that small 2-4 cubes playing room means alot of diff:( Quote 1997 Lexus ES300 HU - Pioneer MVH 7350 Processor - Helix DSP Front Stage - JBL P660C Mid/high amp - Alpine PDX-F4 Subs - 1 IA Death Penalty 12 Sub Amp - Cactus Sounds PF300.

shainemcconnell
I saw a smaller cara weekend or so ago at a comp...that had one 18 in the car.....took up every inch of space.....I am pretty sure the box had to be built in the care........ for sanity purposes I would probably go with the 15 Quote 2010 IDBL Rookie 1 North American Champion 2009 IDBL Rookie 1 Fl State Champion 2009 EBB Fly Weight 3rd Place Fl State Finals 2006 Silver Grand Prix GXP :Diablo Audio Hellfire 1000.1, JL Audio 300/4, One 13W7, ZR650, VR690, JL Cleansweep setup.
