What amplifier is it? 80A fuse amplifier can give out 900 watts rms @ 2 ohms? :rolleyes:

Yeah considering the sundown 1500 which is 800@2 ohm uses 4x40A fuses... Twice the fuse rating? I think your amp is a little overrated especially if it uses 4ga inputs also..

the sundown is also 1 ohm stable, so you gotta take that into effect. 1500rms (at least) into 160amps of fusing seems right. but 900rms @ 2 ohms with 80 amps of fusing tells you it wont likely do over 800. (not trying to bash OP, just stating my opinion)

Yeah true on the 1 ohm stable just using it for reference..

800w @ 2ohm is only half power for that amp and could easily run on half the fuse rating at that load.
