Which Hoe?

Lately I have been having problems agreeing on payments for my current Tahoe with my parents.

my parents paid for the car in full and I have to pay it off in full eventually.

I only get a certain amount of hours per paycheck and it hasn't really changed it fluctuates from 40-50 hours in 2 weeks which is when I get paid.

the problem is my parents want 60% of it and the rest is mine for 2 weeks.

Tahoes are gas guzzlers so most of the money is being spent on gas which leaves me none left to save for upgrades on my car whether it be rims, suspension, interior, audio etc...

I went searching on CraigsList and found a 2 door Tahoe so I started looking into them and I'm liking the potential

if I sell my current Tahoe I would get the money I spent on it and I would put it towards this 2 door and then it would be very easy to pay off the rest and start spending on upgrades

the hard part is letting go of my first car

help a brotha out give me some opinions

If you love your car THAT much then don't get rid of it.

How many miles does your current hoe have on it..and how much does the new one have..

That's always a big thing I look at.

But I would Buy the new one if it's better off in the long term.

That two door looks nice and it would look great blacked out, I just don't really like the whole lift and big tires on suv's.

But if you like it and its better for you financially then you should get it.

my tahoe has 115k on it and I bought it last year with 93k

its the first night that I have really considered doing this so thats why I posted up to get some other opinions.

I haven't slept on it yet...

EDIT: that is another reason to start fresh because my current tahoe is not BLACK it is off black if you know what I mean and it just doesn't look right.

its also a 4x4 so I would get a lot of shit for lowering it.

I only like intense lifts on SUV's otherwise I'm lowering it and putting rims on it

Yeah, these type of decisions you should definitely sleep on and think about for a few days.

I don't know I was just looking around at prices and stuff but that is definitely on my mind when I look at cars.

it shouldn't be much worse than what I have since I put on a lot in a short amount of time.

Id say keep it and feel it out. If you have to down the road then go ahead. Im sure what you have now is way more prone to not brake down and have problems with. Nice ride by the way!

that is true but at the same time if something does happen to my current tahoe I cannot fix it because my car payment would take up the money I would spend on it.

if something happens to the 2 door I could use my paycheck to fix it.

They are great vehicles but hey ya gotta live to. Id keep it tho and be broke idk why.

maybe its just because after having so much nice stuff over the years I have finally had to struggle and its hard for me to see me paying this car off and being happy.

I am not very satisfied with the system I have which is making me think of ways to upgrade but knowing that I can't possibly afford it bursts my bubble quick.

I'm a dreamer but there is a certain point where I stop dreaming and start thinking of ways of making it a reality.
