uluahunta808 Posted July 18, 2009 Report Posted July 18, 2009 i got a few questions about covering a box what kind of carpet or material do u use to cover ur box in? is contact cement a strong bond for applying carpet? if i do spray it what is a good paint to spray it with that is strong and wont scuff or srcatch? thanks guy Aloha.

uluahunta808 Posted July 18, 2009 Author Report Posted July 18, 2009 well my first box i carpeted i used automotive carpet and it was thick. but that came out nice. and just yesterday i carpeted my other box with felt from wall mart and the edges look like shit because when i stretched it and cut it, then it shrunk back to size causing my edges to show wood
deaf_wish Posted July 19, 2009 Report Posted July 19, 2009 use unbacked carpet it streches real nice, and contact cement is great. i painted some on one time because i don't have a air compressor and it worked fine, just make sure you let it get tacky before you start wraping or it will soak thur the carpet.
