splice a switch in to the remote turn on wire...

or you could go a step further and put a relay to turn on the amps.. but you probably dont wanna do more work than you need to.

run a toggle switch inline with your remote wire. pretty simple.

cut your remote wire in and connect both of the cut ends to the toggle switch (on the opposite prongs of course)

there is no need to ground. it is simply are circuit breaker. ON the wires connect. OFF they disconnect
