big 3 on my blazer

Recommended Posts

i just picked my new alternator and i figured i may as well do it while its out. i have a few questions though. i dont want to get rid of the factory wiring just in case i sell the truck and want to return it to stock i read the forum post about it and know i dont have to get rid of it but i was curious if anyone had pics of how they made the connections to the battery. im just trying to figure out the best way to do it before i go and get it done

Is you battery side post or top post? Either way just get some ring terminals and solder them to the wires, you will need probably 6-10 terminals to do the Big 3. You could also crimp the terminals if you have access to a good hydraulic crimper.

Or if you dont have either to do it just measure and cut the lengths of wire you need, and have a local shop crimp or solder the terminals on for you.
